Job Description
- Design, install and configure physical and virtual servers and evaluate or optimize existing unified computing resources.
- Design, develop, install, and maintain operating systems, utilities, and applications software on computing systems
- Architect, implement and maintain virtual infrastructure solutions based on VMware and OVM.
- Administer and support core Microsoft servers, Active Directory, VMware and Oracle VM technologies.
- Manage and maintain VCenter and ESXi infrastructure along with VDS and standard switches.
- Solid Experience with Physical and Virtual Servers, operating system to include Windows, Unix and Linux, Desktops, Remote access and applications.
- Deploy, Administer and support Cisco UCS blade and rack server’s infrastructure along with unified network and storage platform.
- Manage and maintain fabric interconnect and MDS switches and sound understanding of networking terminologies and traffic flows.
- Deploy and configure storage area network, namely EMC VNX and Clarion infrastructure, which includes LUN creation and zoning.
